Navigating Burnout as Advocates

This workshop helps advocacy professionals navigate burnout by examining patterns of harm and unresolved organizational trauma within the anti-sexual violence movement. Participants will gain practical coping strategies for unhealthy environments, giving them the clarity needed to decide whether to stay and navigate these challenges or confidently move on.

This workshop explores the historical roots of oppressive structures in Colonized America, examining how dominant cultural systems have been used as tools of subjugation. Participants will look beyond dismantling these harmful frameworks to actively hypothesize and re-imagine what a world and its systems look like when built on equity, liberation, and collective care.

Staff of Color Affinity Group

We can facilitate a confidential affinity space for Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC), offering a dedicated environment to build community, uplift one another, and engage in meaningful discussion around collective advocacy. These sessions incorporate dedicated time for processing collective experiences, and can include optional grounding and wellness exercises to support holistic wellbeing.
